Are you looking for a roofing company you can trust? In today’s world, it can be difficult to find quality companies who are honest and value their customers. You also have to be careful for those companies who are out to get your money at every turn because unfortunately there are plenty to go around. That’s why we suggest you do your homework before hiring your professional roofing company. Yes, that’s right, I said homework. Nobody likes to do it, but it needs to be done. Don’t worry, it’s not too much, and could end up saving you thousands in the long run.
Great Reviews
First, we recommend you look them up on Google or your preferred review site. If the company you are researching has great reviews then by all means call them out to come inspect your roof. However, if their previous customers don’t have great things to say, then you may want to think twice about hiring them.
Longevity of Their Business
You can pretty much figure out the businesses who have been around for a while compared to the ones who may have just started. Now, I’m not knocking new roofing companies, but there is a vetting process and you need to make sure the right questions are asked upon hiring them. We’ve written a great blog post on the best questions to ask your roofing contractor.
Ask A Friend
Most of the time your family, friends, and neighbors will have a great referral for you. We are putting roofs on homes like crazy, so I’m sure there is someone within your network who has had a roof put on in the past 5 years. Now, this referral can either be a good one or a bad one, but at least it’s a good starting point.
Hiring a roofer can be a daunting task, but we both know it has to be done. My suggestion is to do a little research and make sure you are hiring a reputable company who values quality over quantity.
